His Name is Jesus

My Savior is sufficient.

Why should I despair in anything?

If I am anxious, because I have no finances,

He is sufficient to provide all my needs.

If I am hungry,

He is sufficient to feed me.

If I am in pain,

He is sufficient to heal me.

If I am lonely,

He is sufficient to comfort me. He sits right by me. He talks to me.

If I am lost,

He is sufficient to guide me.

If I am burdened with sin and guilt,

He is sufficient to change me.

Just looking at His face is enough to change me.

He is sufficient.

Doubt has no power over me,

I am bought by the King, and He is sufficient.

Depression had no power over me,

I have been found, and He will never leave my side.

Not even when I am desperate to escape Him.

Not even when I have set my face away from Him.

He has never forsaken me.

He bent His ear toward me, when I cried out to Him in my agony, and in my sin.

He heard me, and He rescued me.

He is sufficient to save me.

If I remember my past, and my sin, and I am overcome with sorrow,

He is sufficient to bring life into me.

He has made me a new creature.

He is sufficient to last me an eternity.

What more can I focus on? What more could I devote myself to?

He is enough, and there is nothing apart from Him - only emptiness and purposelessness.

He is sufficient to give me purpose.

He is sufficient to hold my attention.

If I never move another muscle

If I never speak another word

If I only sit in awe of Him

That is enough.

That is why I was created.

To behold the awesome God,

Seated high above the universe,

Spanning over all creation.

He is sufficient.

If I am unworthy to behold Him,

He is sufficient to make me blameless

To make me royalty in His kingdom.

If I am bound to sin, and unable to escape my own patterns,

He is sufficient to cleanse me from all unrighteousness

To break those bonds, and give me a new hope.

He is sufficient to set me free.

The King of Kings is worthy of all my praise, all my attention, all my love.

Praise be to the Lamb! The One who was slain for my sins!

Let all creation sing praise to Him! He is worthy!

He loves us, and He saves us, and He sets us on our feet.

He gives us faith when we have none,

He gives us love when we have none,

He gives us hope when we have none,

He provides all we could ever need to enjoy Him

To believe in Him

To live for Him

He requires nothing from us that He does not also provide!

He provides it all, and it is all IN Him.

He is sufficient.
